Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts recently announced the launch of branded residences at Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay on Croatia’s Adriatic coast.
The resort development includes renovated residences with a newly built Mövenpick hotel and resort, making for the perfect coastal destination that has been designed for year-round living, bringing people closer together in a luxurious coastal setting.
Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay is located just outside the historic seaside town of Novi Vinodolski and is a two-hour flight from the UK, followed by a scenic 30-minute drive along the coast to reach the resort itself.
With its sheltered waters, forested hills and a mild Mediterranean climate it is the ideal setting for restorative living and an elegant seaside culture which dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries during the Austro-Hungarian era when European aristocracy and cultural elites used to gather here to enjoy relaxed days filled with swimming, outdoor living and shared moments by the sea.
Today this wellbeing continues in a beautiful landscape surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fishing grounds nourished by mountain springs.

The new Mövenpick branded residences form part of the renovation of existing buildings that have been reimagined to modern standards while still preserving their original design to blend in with the surrounding landscape.
The series of low-rise buildings are arranged across a landscaped hillside, consisting of one- and two-bedroom homes, as well as a limited collection of penthouses designed for extended stays and repeat visits. The interiors have been designed by London-based studio Atellior, inspired by elegant Riviera living and feature soft architectural lines, natural materials and a restrained, sun-washed palette that reflects the surrounding Adriatic.
Each residence is fully furnished so that new owners can move in immediately. They come with private terraces and floor to ceiling windows that frame the panoramic sea views. As a resident, you will be able to enjoy full access to the resort, including restaurants, a private beach, swimming pools, a padel court, a spacious kids’ club, a state-of-the-art fitness centre with its sea views and a fully equipped spa in which to unwind.
The residences are fully managed and maintained by the hotel team, while maintenance, services and communal areas are professionally overseen, which means that you don’t need to worry about the practical demands typically associated with owning a second home.
As a residence owner, you will also benefit from a range of privileges including 24-hour security, concierge services, an exclusive owners’ lounge and preferential rates on hotel services. You will also be invited to enrol in the ALL-Accor loyalty program if you haven’t already done so and given Platinum status with privileges across more than 5,700 hotels and resorts worldwide.

The hotel and resort will open this summer, followed by the spa in September 2026, and at 14,000 square meters, it will be the largest in Croatia, making it a modern wellness destination in its own right in keeping with the region’s historic association with health and restoration.
The project has been developed by ECM Partners, an investment firm specialising in Central and Southeast Europe, with nearly €1 billion in invested capital and 28 completed projects to date.
Nader Bawany, portfolio manager, ECM Partners, commented:
