I wonder why it’s taken this long, but finally London Heathrow has its first in-terminal hotel, located in Terminal 3, which opened last month, offering global travellers flexible booking hours irrespective of how long or short they need the facilities for. The hotel complements the Plaza Premium Lounge to create arguably the best airport hospitality experiences at Heathrow.
The new hotel is conveniently located landside, just a short walk from the check-in desks in Terminal 3 and occupies two floors with 82 guestrooms to suit different types of traveller, from leisure to business. Their Solo Plus guestroom is ideal for single travellers, the Double Plus will suit couples and Family Rooms will be great for those of us travelling away on holiday with a couple of children in tow. All the room rates include complimentary Wi-Fi.
The mattresses and pillows have been handpicked to help you get some quality sleep and power nap time during your stay. The guestrooms come equipped with power showers and soothing lighting to ensure you check out refreshed and recharged for your onward journey wherever that may be.
The hotel is open 24/7 as you’d expect and offers really flexible booking packages as well as the ability to check in and out at any time of the day or night, which is particularly helpful for those of us who have a ridiculously early or late flight or a long layover before boarding another next flight. The hotel’s unconventional booking policy gives you the flexibility to check-in any time for stays from 6 hours or more.
The Library Lounge is a great space to relax in or meet with fellow guests and travellers, and all-day dining means you can eat at a time that suits you, no matter which time zone you’re on. You will find a variety of hot and cold dishes and drinks to suit most tastes and they also serve an all-day Full English Breakfast. You will find a good range of complimentary facilities and services available in the lounge, including complimentary Wi-Fi as well as newspapers, magazines and Televisions.
You don’t need to be flying in or out of Terminal 3 either, as you can access Terminals 2, 4 and 5 within 10 minutes and it’s just a five-minute walk to the nearest bus station for buses to London and a six-minute walk to Heathrow Express, which will take you directly into Paddington mainline station.

Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, says of their latest opening at Heathrow: “We are glad to see the opening of Aerotel London Heathrow serving early arrival travellers to rejuvenate, in addition to offering a space for guests staying far away from city and taking early departure to stay the night before. It also complements our six existing and award-winning Plaza Premium Lounge locations at Terminal 2, 3, 4 and 5, all are well received by our guests for the world-class services. Unlike conventional hotels charging daily rates, we tailor room rates based on blocks of hours to create convenience, comfort and value right at the terminal.”
