NOVELTEA co-founder Vincent Efferoth commented on the collaboration with Leysieffer, saying:

“NOVELTEA was created to celebrate the daily little wins. It perfectly pairs with delicious treats, desserts and cakes. In this sense, NOVELTEA flavoured chocolate seemed to be the next step to take our customers on an extraordinary culinary journey to different cultures and flavours. We are thrilled to be able to collaborate with premium chocolate maker, Leysieffer to do this – the chocolates are delicious, and we are delighted with the result.”

Whilst Anna Winkler, Leysieffer’s Marketing Director, said:

“We have found a fantastic partner in NOVELTEA to breathe new life into the world of alcoholic chocolates. With delicate hints of spices, the alcohol slightly supports the delicious experience.”

NOVELTEA was founded by university students Vincent Efferoth and Lucas Passia in Newcastle upon Tyne back in 2017 and seen on Dragon’s Den a year later. Between them, they have created a unique alcoholic tea blend that takes inspiration from cultures from around the world having found a gap in the market for an infusion of alcohol and tea. Although originally from Germany, all the blends have been Inspired by various travels to Morocco, China and around Britain and combine premium loose-leaf tea with specially selected spirits from across the globe.

The Christmas NOVELTEA pralines are available within various gift bundles from at an RRP of £34.95 for a 70cl bottle of NOVELTEA and 9 pralines (90g).
