Volkswagen has produced a special edition “ONE Million” model of the Touareg, which has been in the company’s model range since 2002. This stylish special model comes with special paintwork and a coordinated interior, exclusive detailing and loaded with some rather exclusive equipment.
The Touareg has been an important vehicle in the Volkswagen model range since it was launched at the end of 2002, when it quickly became a best-seller for the manufacturer. Now in its third generation, the Touareg shows no signs of dwindling in popularity. Packed with technological innovations and connectivity, as well as partially automated driving functions, this dynamic SUV is well suited to everyday family use and is practical on many fronts, boasting a maximum trailer towing weight of up to 3.5 tons, which is impressive to say the least.
This special model features completely new paintwork in an optional Sechura Beige and two new types of wheel rim to choose from in the form of high-gloss polished 20-inch Bogota wheels or 21-inch Suzuka wheels in Adamantium Silver.
The vehicle’s exterior is accentuated by darkened rear lights, high-quality sill panel trims and a badge on the B-pillar with the inscription “ONE MILLION”. The wheel arch strips and a diffuser are painted in Gloss Black and there is an R-Line Black Style exterior package available which include exterior mirrors in Reflection Silver.
The car’s interior also gets a makeover, with rather exclusive Puglia leather seat covers, whilst the upper parts of the front seats and the insides of the doors are decorated with high-quality diamond stitching in Amber Brown, which can also be seen on the dash panel, steering wheel and gear lever. No detail is too small for Volkswagen, as even the car’s key is covered in high quality Puglia leather!
The driver gets a fully digitalised Innovision Cockpit, whose screen is used to control the air conditioning system and seat heating, as well as other functionality.
The millionth Touareg rolled off the production line in Bratislava, Slovakia, and is the only assembly plant worldwide to produce the Touareg for the Volkswagen brand.
