Häagen-Dazs Launches New Alcohol-Based Cocktail Flavours

With the majority of us having to stay in the UK over the summer rather than travel abroad for our summer holidays, we are all hoping that this hot spell continues so that we can enjoy being at home in our gardens entertaining family and friends or taking a staycation in another part of the country for a much needed break from the endless lockdowns. This also means that we will need something to cool us down on those particularly hot days, and what better than a deliciously chilled Lime Mojito Sorbet or Piña Colada Ice Cream from Häagen-Dazs.

These two new flavours are the perfect treat from this well-known luxury ice cream brand and bring a little exotic moment of joy to the UK this summer with their iconic creamy, dreamy ice cream made from two of the UK’s favourite cocktails. Häagen-Dazs’ new Lime Mojito Sorbet and Piña Colada Ice Cream may seem somewhat indulgent, however, these refreshing new flavours offer a little taste of the tropics many of us have been craving since last year.

Both ice creams are light, zesty and vegan, with the Lime Mojito Sorbet being infused with a touch of rum and generous swirl of sweet mint coulis, while the Piña Colada Ice Cream is luxuriously creamy with coconut and pineapple ice cream plus a swirl of pineapple rum sauce. Yummy!

Häagen-Dazs are purposely being a little playful and disruptive this summer as they invite us to mix things up as they bring together the two contrasting worlds of cocktails and ice cream, to create this delicious flavour combination, containing just a drop of alcohol (less than 0.97% per tub), making them the perfect adult treat and tasty alternative to cocktails for those of us who prefer low and no alcohol options.

Both the new Lime Mojito Sorbet and Piña Colada Ice Cream are available from ASDA nationwide and retail at £4.99 per tub.
