For those of you looking for a stylish, durable pick-up truck that gives good off-road performance coupled with impressive safety technology, then the all-new Isuzu D-Max offers superior levels of comfort and refinement and will be in showrooms and available to buy from March.
The newly designed the D-Max has an elevated front-end and sharp contours, giving it an imposing presence on and off the road. It comes with distinctive 18” alloy wheels and new Bi-LED lights on the higher end models.
The vehicle’s interior also gets a facelift with a new sophisticated layered dashboard design and new infotainment systems, giving the cabin a more spacious and contemporary feel. Add the new soft-touch panelling and elegant detailing and you get an altogether superior interior which is fuss-free and easy to operate. There is also improved road and noise sound-proofing and new speed-sensitive electronic power steering.
As well as getting new front and rear suspension, the all-new D-Max is even more capable off-road thanks to a faster engaging shift-on-the-fly 4WD system and a standard rear diff-lock on All-Purpose and Adventure models. In addition, there is more extensive underbody protection for peace of mind.
New safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limiter and Lane Departure Warning & Prevention on every model. It is also the only pickup in the UK to have a rear radar fitted as standard on all double cab variants.
Under the bonnet, the Isuzu D-Max has a powerful Euro 6D compliant diesel engine that delivers 164PS and 360Nm of torque and you can choose between a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, which will give you up to 25% faster gear changes.
For those of you who need the pickup’s towing capability, you will be pleased to know that the Isuzu D-Max is capable of towing up to 3.5t and carrying over a tonne payload.
Models in the range include 4×2 or 4×4, three different cab types, including single, extended and double cab, and four new trim levels to choose from and each model comes with 125,000 mile and 5 Year warranty plus 5 years UK and European roadside assistance.
