Country fans were “Inside The Dream” as songstress Carly Pearce brought a slice of Kentucky to Glasgow.
Slick singing of old favourites like “We Don’t Fight Anymore” and “Truck on Fire” had the audience at SEC Armadillo throwing their cowboy hats in the air as they joined in the night.
And even a technical glitch as she sang “Fault Line” failed to spoil the night for faithful fans, as the microphone faded, the audience finished the song off with joyful enthusiasm.
Ever the professional, Carly took advantage of the time out to hold an impromptu “meet and greet” as her team worked hard to get her back on stage.
Carly started her singing life as a youngster as a member of her church choir with religion still a big part of her life today. And her concert was peppered with stories of her life and deep faith with Carly crediting it for the success she has enjoyed.
The set list featured songs from her four studio albums, including “Every Little Thing” and “Hummingbird” and new music from her yet to be released LP due out later this year.
Songs like “Church Girl” and “If I Don’t Leave, I’m Gonna Stay”, which she released in March as a duet with fellow country star Riley Green are part of the “Inside the Dream” tour.

Carly’s music is a mixture of both traditional and contemporary country-pop and fiercely rooted in the classics, which have shaped her life since she left home and high school at the tender age of 16 to take a job at the famous American Dollywood amusement park.
Now she is an award winner, picking up Grammy, ACM, CMA and CMT prizes and a member of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry.
With a simple but classy set and backed by her four strong band, Carly is a real show woman who has the audience eating out of her hand.
A fabulous concert which left the country loving fans shouting “Yeeha” as they headed home.
Carly Pearce will appear at the 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on 19th May and Waterfront Hall, Belfast on 20th May, before heading back to the USA for a string of concerts starting in Nashville, Tennessee on 29th May and running through until the end of August 2026.
