There’s a full house of mirth and merriment at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
With three weeks of fun at the Edinburgh Fringe finishing on 25th August, the laughs are getting louder and the streets packed with people looking for a show to savour.
The SpaceUK is celebrating its 30th anniversary as a physical venue and there’s plenty on offer to keep everyone entertained.
One for all the family is the Quirks and Foibles very own Sketch Show Bingo. The trio made up of Katie Bennett, Amy McCann and Amelia Stephenson are bright, bubbly and hilariously funny.
Greeting the audience at the door, the three dish out dabbers ready for the bingo and each number drawn from the basket of balls reveals another silly sketch.
The light weight laughs are just plain daft and the first audience member to get a full line of sketches or a full house is rewarded with a special bingo badge or chocolate bar.
No show is the same and the girls who have been finalist in BBC radio’s comedy are quick, funny and very fast with their humour.
With audience participation, it’s a grand way to spend 50 minutes of magical mirth.
From the old-fashioned game to the modern humour via Tik Tok sensation Ella Wills, a London based comedian who specialises in laughs which encompass all aspects of British life today.
Ella is young, modern and on a journey to find herself in more ways than one and her offline comedy show in Edinburgh was lapped up by a like-minded audience who laughed, groaned and cheered through 50 minutes of tales from the LGBTQ community, Ella’s tattoos and stories of her mixed race upbringing in London.
Bringing the online into the real world, Ella is a breath of fresh air and a winner for all age groups.
Both the Sketch Show Bingo and Ella Wills Offline gigs are held in the beautiful Edinburgh Surgeon’s Hall and proved to be real winners at this year’s mastery of mirth.
