Ferrari Trento have made some additions to their exclusive collection inspired by some of the iconic Grands Prix and race circuits around the world.
The 2022 season opening Grand Prix in Bahrain in mid-March followed by Saudi Arabia a week later and Melbourne yesterday, have been real eye-openers, what with the new car regulations and a resurgent Ferrari consistently beating Mercedes so far this season, something no one would have predicted last season. Will it be race to the championship between Ferrari and Red Bull this year?
So, the 2022 season promises to be an exciting one with closer racing, and where we will no doubt see a number of different drivers on the podium with their Ferrari F1 bottles as the season unfolds.
With this mind, Ferrari Trento, which now in its second year of playing a leading role as the Official Toast of Formula 1, is making its own contribution to the new season with some fun novelties that will give motor racing enthusiasts the opportunity to personally experience some of the emotions of the races and circuits.
At the start of the season Ferrari Trento offered a few lucky fans the chance to take home some of the unique bottles autographed by the winning drivers, thanks to a series of charity auctions on the F1 Authentics platform. And now the Gruppo Lunelli winery has added two new labels to its Ferrari F1 Limited Edition collection.
Having launched four different versions of their cuvée last year that pay homage to four of the iconic Grand Prix races, they are now adding two new bottles. The first is dedicated to the circuit in Miami, new to the championship this season, which promises to be a spectacular venue and takes place over the weekend of 6th to 8th May. The second new label is dedicated to the circuit in Mexico City, situated at 2,200 meters (7,200 ft) above sea level, allowing the cars to reach even higher speeds and therefore promising to be an exciting race. The Mexican Grand Prix takes place over the weekend of 28th to 30th October.
Both bottles, like the previous Ferrari F1 Limited Editions, are Blanc de Blancs cuvées. Matured on their lees for 38 months, these Trentodoc wines display a highly intense nose with notes of ripe fruit, in which you also find hints of crusty bread and hazelnuts. It offers an inviting and satisfying palate which can be attributed to the wine’s freshness and the finesse of its perlage, with a finish that combines both mineral sensations and citrusy nuances.
Each new bottle bears the circuit’s image on the label and comes packaged in an attractive customised gift box, and are available in limited quantities from wine stores and online at www.ferraritrento.com.
