Outdoor Wardrobe to Beat the Chills

Sprayway Outdoor Softshell Jackets

Summer will be over in a blink of an eye and the autumn chills will be sending everyone into hibernation.

Weeks of mixed weather have curtailed walking and outdoor activities for many and so there is even more reason now to get the right gear for when the chilly days and nights.

And clothing specialists at Sprayway are one step ahead. The firm, which started in 1974 in Greater Manchester by two friends, John Hunt and Simon Wright, has a wealth of experience in kit for the outdoors.

John used his talent as a designer to create smart looking clothes which are both practical and a good look in the wardrobe, and Simon’s customer service expertise meant the firm were ahead of the game with competitors.

The latest range of new softshell jackets for men and women have just been launched by the firm and are designed to cope with changeable conditions.

Men are catered for with the Hallin jacket, hoody and gilet, ranging from £60 to £75 and women have the Charn hoody, priced at £75 to choose from.

The range features TecWEAVE™ stretch 135 fabric which is highly water resistant, wind resistant and extremely quick drying, making it spot on for days when a full waterproof shell is just too much.

The softshell provides the essential level of protection, but allows the wearer to feel comfortable, something which can be a problem with traditional waterproofs.

The water-resistant finish ensures protection from brief showers, whilst the quick drying and stretchy fabric ensures the wearer stays comfortable when moving fast.

Large pockets with a mesh lining can be left open to aid venting when the sun comes out or the pace picks up.

A softshell layer is one of the most versatile bits of kit, which can be easily stored in any pack or bag when heading out for the day.

The outdoor clothing is available in a wide range of sizes and trendy colours from the online shop and more information is available via their website: www.sprayway.com.
