Lightweight Leggings

Sprayway lightweight leggings

Time to forget and escape those long winter blues and stride out into the warmer weather in style.

Manchester based outdoor clothing specialists Sprayway has launched new clothing as part of their function first design ethos for summer.

Produced to inspire and encourage, the new hill walking legwear collection has been designed for both men and women.

The Escape leggings are lightweight, very stretchy and have all day next to skin comfort, using the four way TecWEAVE™ interlock, polyester fabric, which is soft, high wicking and offers great support.

Boasting a decent sized stretch mesh pockets which can easily accommodate a mobile phone and an elasticated flat front waist for added comfort with an internal drawcord, the leggings come in a variety of sizes and colours.

Retailing between £50 and £70, the leggings are a great aid for outdoor enthusiasts.

For people who like their leggings a little shorter, the Escape ¾ Leggings (£45 to £50), have all the same technical details, but are shorter for warmer or more active days out.

The Escape Pant (£70) is also new for women and a lightweight all round outdoor pant with great stretch and a WR finish (which is PFC free) for those unpredictable summer rain showers. Made from TecWEAVE™ the trousers have two zipped hand pockets, a zipped security thigh pocket, and a Tricot lined waistband for wicking comfort even on the hottest days.

Sprayway was formed above a launderette in 1974 by two friends, John Hunt and Simon Wright, with both using their strengths in marketing and good eyes to launch the outdoor firm and expand it to today’s success. They have not wavered from their ethos of simple, but effective gear to make enjoying nature a must.

Since 2012, the firm has worked with the Fair Wear Foundation, a non for profit organisation which works with brands, factories, trade unions, NGO’s and Governments to verify and improve workplace conditions in 11 production countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
