Still not sure what gift to get for your loved one this Valentine’s Day? Well, we’ve come up with something a little different – a Mermaid Pink Gin Gift Set – and while we’re at it, let’s tell you about three Mermaid Pink Gin cocktails you can make at home.
If you are not familiar with this particular brand of gin, it infuses the fresh flavour of Isle of Wight strawberries with the smooth yet complex taste of Mermaid Gin, to create an aromatic and refreshing drink that is perfectly balanced, subtle yet at the same time vibrant.
Our first cocktail is Mermaid Pink Gin Be My Valentine, which is made with 25ml Mermaid Pink Gin, 3 Strawberries, muddled and sprig of Basil, 20ml Lemon Juice, 5ml Agave Syrup and Strawberry Kombucha. To prepare, muddle 3 strawberries before shaking the ingredients in a shaker with ice, then strain and top up with strawberry Kombucha and finish by garnishing it with half a strawberry and sprig of basil.
Second on our list is Mermaid Pink Gin Bitter French. This is made with 25ml Mermaid Pink Gin, 10ml Campari, 12.5ml Lemon Juice, 12.5ml Supar Syrup and some Champagne. Firstly, put all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice, then shake well and strain into a chilled flute. To finish, top with Champagne and garnish with a twist of grapefruit.
Last but by no means least is the Mermaid Pink Gin Bramble, which is made with 50ml Mermaid Pink Gin, 25ml Lemon Juice, 10ml Sugar Syrup and 10ml Crème de Mure. Add all three ingredients with ice and shake before straining into a glass filled with crushed ice. Top with a little bit more crushed ice and drizzle over the Crème De Mure before garnishing with a blackberry and lemon slice for the perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail.
The special Mermaid Gin Pink Gift Set, which comes with a bottle of Mermaid Pink Gin (79cl) and two gold-patterned copa glasses, costs £65.60 including free postage and packing if you place your order between now and 14th February.
