APT Travelmarvel (www.aptouring.co.uk) has unveiled its first-ever small ship cruises in Croatia aboard the brand-new yacht MV Lady Eleganza.
From spring 2022 the 34-passenger yacht will sail along the Adriatic coast and take in some of Croatia’s most beautiful resorts and small islands. Well-known for its river cruises, the announcement marks APT’s first boutique seagoing ship in Europe and a spokesman said MV Lady Eleganza had been designed to offer guests an intimate yachting experience away from the crowds normally associated with larger vessels.
Sailing from Opatija to Dubrovnik – the walled city known as the Pearl of the Adriatic – the seven-night Adriatic Coastal Cruise itinerary will take in Rab, Sibenik, Split and Korcula. Highlights include a visit to Krka National Park, the remote and largely untouched island of Visu and the opportunity to swim in the Adriatic when the boat is anchored.
Fares include flights, transfers, most meals, wine and drinks with lunch and dinner and gratuities. Cruises will operate from April to September and there is the option of three-night pre or post-cruise guided land extensions to discover more of Croatia.
In other news APT Travelmarvel has announced a new seven-night Rhine & Moselle Christmas Markets river cruise in December 2022. Sailing from Amsterdam to Basel, passengers will sail on one of APT’s new Travelmarvel Contemporary ships, which will be launching towards the end of 2021.
A family-owned company since it was founded in 1927, Australian Pacific Touring was started as a bus and coach tour company in Australia before expanding onto the international market. Its first river cruise programme was launched in 2008.
