This year sees the launch of CroisiEurope’s second small sea cruise ship, La Belle des Oceans, which will sail on two new seven-night itineraries in the Canary Islands and Corsica. The line is also introducing a second ship and luxury lodge in Africa. The RV Zimbabwean Dream will join its sister ship, the RV African Dream, for a four-day cruise on Lake Kariba – the world’s largest man-made lake – combined with a four-day stay in a lodge near Chobe National Park in Botswana, as well as overnight hotel stays in Johannesburg and Victoria Falls.

Other highlights of the programme include a brand new four-night Romantic German Sites & The Charming Neckar Valley cruise from Strasbourg to Stuttgart, and the seven-night Prague, Dresden & The Castles of Bohemia itinerary on the Elbe and Vltava rivers. A five-night cruise from Amsterdam has been organised to coincide with the Floriade Expo 2022 horticultural spectacle which takes place every ten years. Also new is a six-night cruise between Mantua and Venice, along the Canal Bianco through the heart of the Italian regions of Emilia Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto.

CroisiEurope also has increased capacity on its intimate French hotel barges, which are proving increasingly popular with the UK market. There are six itineraries through Alsace, Burgundy, Provence, Ile de France and Champagne as well as on the Upper Loire. These cruises are on fully skippered barges with just 11 cabins, making them ideal for families and groups of friends.

The Oberammergau Passion Play in Bavaria, which is held every decade and was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, has been rescheduled for 2022. CroisiEurope is offering a special five-night Danube cruise which includes two nights in Oberammergau and tickets for the world-famous play. Other themed sailings include Cruise & Walk itineraries through the Rhone Valley and Italy, a French art and history cruise between Lyon and Martigues and a musical cruise between Hamburg and Berlin.

John Fair, UK sales director for CroisiEurope, said:

“Our 2022 programme really does offer something for everyone, from perennial favourites on the Rhine, Seine, Danube and Douro to more innovative itineraries on the Guadalquivir, Vltava, Po, Garonne and on Lake Kariba in Southern Africa. Plus, with all meals and drinks included on most of our cruises, they offer fantastic value for money which is more important than ever at this time. We are seeing huge interest in our 2022 itineraries so I would encourage consumers to book early to not only guarantee a place on the cruise of their choice but to save 15% on the price of the cruise.”
