AIKON Automatic Middle East Special Edition

AIKON Middle East Special Edition

Swiss watchmaker Maurice Lacroix has just launched the AIKON Middle East Special Edition timepiece which makes a bold statement with its rather mesmerising blue dial, reminiscent of the vast Arabian skies, capturing the charm of the Middle East along with its vibrant culture.

The watch face is adorned with Arabic numerals that really stand out and are a nod to the spirit and fascinating elegance of the Middle East.

AIKON has become an icon in its own right and this special edition timepiece has been inspired by the iconic Calypso of the 90s. Its design embraces bold, urban styling, and masterfully plays with contrasts.

Like all Maurice Lacroix watches, the AIKON offers quality Swiss craftsmanship along with a high perceived value.

The 42mm brushed and polished stainless steel case of the AIKON Middle East Special Edition is 11mm thick and comes fitted with a sapphire crystal glass lens with double anti-reflective coating. The open case back is also fitted with sapphire glass and has special engraving. The bezel features an eye-catching six “claws” design and a screwed crown and is water resistant to 200 metres.

The watch dial is light blue with a clous de paris motif, while the Arabic numerals and indexes are rhodium-plated with white super-luminova, as are the hands and second hand. The date is displayed at the 3 o’clock position.

Fitted with an Automatic ML115 movement, the AIKON Middle East Special Edition has a power reserve of 38 hours and the 25mm wide stainless steel bracelet has an easy change system.
