Seiko has just this week launched their new Prospex Ladies Marine Sports watch collection, offering a blend of refined elegance in the form of useable everyday dress watch that offers reliable and robust functionality needed for active marine sports.
Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications’ and so Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable so as to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for athletes and adventure seekers.
This new Prospex lady’s timepiece is powered by an in-house built 6N01 quartz calibre movement to ensure accuracy in smaller case sizes and has a power reserve of approximately three years. And as the watch is designed for the adventurer in mind, it is water-resistant up to 200 metres.
The new collection consists of three colourways: Seafoam White, Aqua Blue and Two-Tone, each one featuring an iridescent mother-of-pearl dial under a curved sapphire crystal glass that showcases the LumiBrite-coated hands and indices that give the wearer enhanced legibility even in poor light.
Seiko have designed the timepiece to fit into its compact stainless steel 34mm case with a screw case back and attached to a slim and intricate stainless steel bracelet strap which has a short pit length. The bracelet has been designed for optimum comfort on the wrist and has a three-fold clasp with push button release.
